A News Channel revival is stupid, a Wii Shop Channel revival is even stupider

First off all, why would anyone even need a News Channel revival? To read the news? Who even does that now? Honestly, I don't care, but why would you bother reviving the Wii Shop Channel?

Try making a Wii Shop Channel revival without downloads, go ahead, try. We've got LaunchShop for that, but the whole idea is going downhill (like my life). The Channel's purpose was downloading Wii titles, so without that—how do you even handle Account Activity, Titles You've Downloaded, gifting, and all that? Yeah, I don’t know either, which is why I end up working more on the website side than the shop part.

But wait, isn't there OSC? Yeah, it exists, but no, it’s not a Wii Shop Channel revival—it’s just for homebrew and has a custom UI. A true Wii Shop Channel revival should have the same UI, should be able to download Wii titles, and everything else included. You'll manage to make a catalog, settings, recommended titles, announcements and nothing else if you don’t plan on having downloads. And if that’s your plan, good luck, you’re fucked. Damn.

tl;dr honestly dont even try making a WSC revival, do something else for god's sake! if i left orc, i should leave this awesome respecting community as well
